The third transnational project meeting of the DEAL project was held on 2 and 3 March 2019 at the Pedagogical Faculty “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje.
There were 12 participants at the meeting: Simona Pulko, Melita Zemljak Jontes, from the University of Maribor, Lidija Cvikić and Tamara Turza-Bogdan from the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb., Hajnalka Draganić i Ivan Igić from the Elementary School Ivan Gundulić Zagreb and all six members of the project team from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius Skopje: Ademi, Elizabeta Bandilovska, Biljana Kamševska, Vesna Makaševska, Maja Raunik Kirkov, Emil Sulejmani.
The main purpose of this meeting was to do the quality control of activities for developing Intellectual Output 2 (IO2) and Intellectual Output (IO3), and to agree on the project management activities.
During the two-day meeting, project participants analysed their previous work and agreed on the timetable for work on the following intellectual outcomes: Transdisciplinary literacy developing activities (IO 2) and Database with transdisciplinary prompts for literacy developing activities (IO 3). Sixty activities for the IO 2 were analysed. Based on a joint analysis, some activities have been discarded, some will be refined, and some new ones will be devised. The main criteria in the activity analysis were innovation, transdisciplinarity and all forms of learning (formal, non-formal and informal). According to these criteria, participants created a sample activity: Carousel of Words.
Further dissemination of the project in public and on social media was agreed at the meeting. The quality control of one-year work on the project was made and the partners were informed about the submitted Annual Report. The timetable for project activities and events was agreed. Our partners from Skopje did a great job in hosting the team so both the content and hard work took place in a pleasant and stimulating atmosphere.
