The second transnational project meeting of the DEAL project was held on 13 and 14 March 2019 at the Pedagogical Faculty “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Skopje.
In total, 12 participants attended the meeting: Dragica Haramija, Melita Zemljak Jontes, from the University of Maribor, Lidija Cvikić and Tamara Turza-Bogdan from the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb., Hajnalka Draganić and Ivan Igić from the Elementary School Ivan Gundulić Zagreb and all six members of the project team from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius Skopje: Ademi, Elizabeta Bandilovska, Biljana Kamševska, Vesna Makaševska, Maja Raunik Kirkov and Emil Sulejmani.
The main purpose of the meeting was to review finalised activities, sett criteria for future activities of developing Intellectual Output 2 (IO2) and Intellectual Output (IO3), and to agree on project management activities.
During the two-day work, project participants analysed their ongoing work and agreed on the timetable for the upcoming activities regarding intellectual outputs: the criteria for selecting literacy activities, possible learning situations and how to jointly approach the design. The results of the agreement are presented in documents that will serve all project participants in designing activities and structuring a database of learning materials.
In addition, the dissemination of the project and the presentation of the Collection of good practice examples in public and on social media were agreed.
At the end of the meeting, the timeline for further work on the project as well as communication strategy was agreed. All participants agreed that the work on the project was stimulating and comfortable, and all doubts and questions have been successfully resolved. Based on the cooperation so far, we are pleased to work in the project on the topic of developing language literacy for disadvantaged children and are looking forward to future activities.
